SYRACUSE - Registrations now are being accepted through Feb. 5 for spring semester adult education classes at Wawasee High School.
The spring semester adult education classes at Wawasee will begin the week of Feb. 16.
Wawasee offers a variety of classes for non-credit and also offers instruction for preparation to pass the GED test to attain a high school diploma.
Classes are one night a week unless otherwise stated.
New classes being offered in the spring are Pysanky Workshop (wax-decorated egg), Alabaster Carving, Adult Learn to Swim, Introduction to Computers II and Introduction to Manual Camera Functions. All classes will be held at WHS.
Anyone wanting to register for a class may send registration fee, along with name, address and telephone number, to the Career/Technical and Continuing Education Office at Wawasee High School, 1 Warrior Path, Building 1, Syracuse, IN 46567.

The offerings for spring are:- Introduction to Computers I: $40, on Tuesdays beginning Feb. 16 for five classes from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Introduction to Computers II: $50, on Tuesdays beginning March 23 for five classes from 6 to 8 p.m.
- GED: No fee, on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Feb. 16 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
- Adult, Infant, Level II, III and IV Swimming Lessons: $40, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning April 20 for nine classes. Adult Learn to Swim, 5:30 to 6 p.m.; Infant (4 months to 2 years), 5:30 to 6 or 6 to 6:30 p.m./Level I, II, III, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m./Level I, II, IV, 7:15 to 8 p.m. Indicate time and level and age of child swimmer.
- Bodyworks (aerobics): $35, on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning March 8 for 16 classes from 7 to 8 p.m.
- Water Exercise: $40, Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Feb. 16 for 14 classes from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
- Yoga: $25, on Tuesdays beginning Feb. 16 for six classes from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sticky mat required.
- Beginning Cake Decorating: $40, on Tuesdays beginning Feb. 16 for six classes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Supplies extra.
- Advanced Cake Decorating: $30, on Tuesdays beginning March 30 for three classes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Supplies extra.
- Quilting: $40, on Mondays beginning Feb. 22 for six classes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Supplies extra.
- Beginning or Advanced Stained Glass: $40, on Thursdays beginning Feb. 18 for five classes from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Supplies extra.

- Birthday Cards: $20, on March 16 for one class from 6 to 8 p.m. Supplies included.
