Kosciusko County Recycling Depot, in partnership with Borden's Wasteaway group, brought the Dumpster Drummer program to four Warsaw elementary schools Wednesday and Thursday: Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington and Harrison. The program focused on recycling education as the Dumpster Drummers “drummed” on recycle bins, trash cans and other recyclable containers. The theme was “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rock out!” Depot Director Shelly Heckert said, “Our recycling rates have much room for improvement and this is a great way to ‘drum’ up excitement.” Pictured are the Drummers performing at Lincoln Wednesday.
