Warsaw Redevelopment Commission approved an engineering service contract for driveway improvements at Da-Lite Screen Co. Inc. during Monday's meeting.
The $9,000 contract is for Ken Herceg & Associates Inc. to complete improvements to Ind. 15 at Da-Lite Screen's north and south driveways near the CR 300N intersection.
Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety approved the contract at its July 20 meeting. The agreement is for Ken Herceg & Associates Inc. to complete erosion and sediment control plan.
The fee for the work will be $42,684.
The city has requested Herceg to prepare specifications and bid documents for the northbound right turn lane at the intersection of Ind. 15 and CR 300N, said City Planner Jeremy Skinner.
The commission tabled a resolution to declare Riepen LP, doing business as Danco, as an economic revitalization area.
The commission also approved three redevelopment claims.
The claims were for Ken Herceg & Associates for Ind. 15 and CR 300N improvements for $9,000; and Gatke project renovation claims of $4,840.69 and $1,273.24.
The commission also approved two tax increment replacement levy calculations.
The calculations were for the Warsaw Northern Economic Development Area in the northern tax increment finance district on Ind. 15N for $1324,126. The other was a calculation for Warsaw Central Redevelopment Area for the Warsaw downtown TIF district for $33,981.
Commission members are Kyle Babcock, Neal Carlson, Savina Kralis, Tammy Rockey and City Council representative Charlie Smith.
