Redevelopers OK Buffalo St. Improvements Service Agreement

Warsaw Redevelopment Commission Monday approved a professional service agreement for Buffalo Street corridor improvements.
The agreement states Warsaw will develop Buffalo Street from Main Street to Center Lake. The initial goal of the project is to transform Buffalo Street into a boulevard from Fort Wayne Street to Canal Street, according to City Planner Jeremy Skinner.Improvements will continue from Canal Street to Center Lake.
The project also will include new sidewalks, road pavement, curbs, street lighting and street trees.
The cost of the project is $78,000.
Commission members are Richard Snodgrass, Charlie Smith, Tammy Rockey, Savina Kralis and Trish Brown.
The commission will meet again June 1 at noon at city hall.
