Kimberly Stout (L), Kosciusko Red Cross Emergency Services director, assists volunteer Sherry Lantz in completing her paperwork before deploying to southern Indiana for two weeks. This is Lantz’s first Red Cross deployment. Lantz, a Kosciusko Red Cross volunteer and Syracuse resident, has deployed as a client caseworker. Lantz left Friday and will return March 28. Client caseworkers collect client care information and help with various types of assistance for people directly affected by the tornadoes. The Kosciusko Red Cross anticipates continued deployments the next week or two. Those who want to help the people affected by these disasters, as well as countless crises at home and around the world, can make a donation to support American Red Cross Disaster Relief. Their gift will enable the Red Cross to prepare for and provide shelter, food, emotional support and other disaster assistance. To make a donation, visit www.redcross.org or call 800-RED-CROSS or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation. Contributions may also be sent to American Red Cross, Kosciusko County Chapter, 320 N. Buffalo St., Warsaw, IN 46580.
