SYRACUSE - The largest marina on Lake Wawasee, Main Channel Marina, has announced a new recycling program with proceeds benefiting the local Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation.
Main Channel Marina will now accept used recyclable aluminum cans at their fuel dock and recycling center on their grounds to prevent the refuse from ending up at the bottom of the lake.
Boaters will now have an easy convenient option to dispose of aluminum cans without having to choose between maintaining empty containers on their boat or polluting the lakes with harmful cans.
To participate in this program any boater may drop off aluminum cans to Main Channel Marina’s fuel dock for immediate disposal.
