The eighth annual Ride For Recovery – a family themed gathering and motorcycle bike ride that concludes in Warsaw – is coming up in a few weeks.
The motorcycle ride begins at 11 a.m. Sept. 9 at Serenity House, 2278 CR 50, Auburn.
The 75-mile ride will pass through several towns before concluding with a gathering at the Bowen Center corporate facility, 2621 E. Jefferson St., Warsaw.
There is no pre-registration for the ride and sign-up begins at 10 a.m. outside of the Serenity House.
Supporters who are not participating in the bike ride are encouraged to arrive at the Bowen Center in Warsaw at 3 p.m. for family-fun activities.
At 4 p.m., participants will be able to enjoy a variety of desserts as bikers begin to arrive and conclude their ride.
A speaker meeting is set to begin at 5 p.m.
The bike ride fee is $10 plus $5 for a passenger.
Money raised from the event will benefit Serenity House.
The event is sponsored by the Northeast Regional Advisory Board of Community Anti-Drug Coalitions and the Association of Recovering Motorcyclists Chapters 27, 35 and 47.
