ROCHESTER – Rebecca Jacquelyne “Jackie” Shelburne, 82, of 1136 W. 9th St., Rochester, died at 1:13 a.m. May 25, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born Sept. 14, 1928, in Anderson, to Moses and Blanche Day Wire. Surviving are four daughters: Tammy See, Misty (and spouse Timothy) DePoy and Mindy (and spouse Hector) Navarro, all of Rochester, and Betsy Shelburne, State College, Pa.; seven sons: Gary (and spouse Pam) Shelburne, Brooklyn; Jeffery (and spouse Jeanie) Shelburne and Randy (and spouse Carol) Shelburne, all of Rochester; Scotty (and spouse Karen) Shelburne, Camden, S.C.; Rusty (and spouse Laurie) Shelburne, Kalamazoo, Mich.; Rodney (and spouse Darla) Shelburne, Warsaw; and Barney (and spouse Lorraine) Shelburne, Byron, Ill.; 27 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Bonnie Mennefee, Anderson; Linda (and spouse Fred) Tucker, Fishers; and Jewel Eason, Westfield; four brothers: David (and spouse Wilma) Wire, Indianapolis; Tom (and spouse Sandra) Wire and Mike (and spouse Cindy) Wire, all of Noblesville; and Ted Wire, Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, a granddaughter, twin grandsons, two sisters and two brothers. Services will be at noon Saturday at Rochester Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
