Rebecca “Becky” Ann White Davidson, 76, Hawthorne, Fla., passed away March 20, 2018, in Sanford, Fla.
She was born July 6, 1941, in Fort Wayne, to Marcus and Louise Cornelius White.
Rebecca graduated from Pierceton High School in 1959 and attended Grace College in Winona Lake and Indiana University. After making Fort Lauderdale, Fla., her home, she independently raised her two children and had a 27-year career as a travel agent until her retirement in 2003.
Rebecca was an avid reader, talented crafter, lover of music and always enjoyed a good political debate. She was also dedicated to the preservation of the environment and found her greatest happiness at her home in the woods of northern Florida.
Rebecca is survived by her son, Allen Davidson (Jessica), Cape Coral, Fla.; daughter, Deborah Davidson West (Christopher), Sanford; sisters: Carole Dean White McCormick and Beth White, Fort Wayne; and MarLou White Beery, Larwill; and grandchildren Kennedy West and Jennie Davidson. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Kimmi.
A celebration of Rebecca’s life will be held at a later date.
