If you are caregiving for an older adult, you will not want to miss “Lunch & Learn: Education for Caregivers” sponsored by REAL Services Inc. and Alzheimer’s Services.
This is a free series which allows busy caregivers to learn about many caregiving topics as well as network with fellow caregivers. Monthly sessions are held on the third Thursday, each month, from 12:10 to 1:30 p.m.
This season’s remaining session dates and topics include: Aug. 18, Creative Ways to Manage Stress; Sept. 15, Helping Siblings Overcome Family Conflict While Caring for Aging Parents; Oct. 20, Adaptive Aids and Home Modifications; Nov. 17, Personal Care in Later Stages; Dec. 15, Understanding Seasonal Affective Disorder and Coping with the Holidays.
