NORTH MANCHESTER – Raymond “Ray” Bradford, 78, Greenwood, Calif., and formerly of Indiana, died Nov. 11, 2014, at his residence. He was born Feb. 1, 1936, in Blue River, Ky., to Valice and Bertha Slone Bradford. He was married to his wife of 43 years, Johanne Parra Bradford. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force before being honorably discharged in 1961. Also surviving are five children: Kim Rae Dotson, North Manchester; Kit Valice Bradford, Sacramento, Calif.; Alana Owen, Sparks, Okla.; Kim Marie Luna, Sacramento, Calif.; Kelly Jo Dugan, Denver, Colo.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters: Osie Lawmaster, Pierceton; Pauline Booe and Debra Dotson, both of King, N.C.; Evelyn Garman, and Richmond Bradford, both of North Manchester; Donald and Carl Bradford, and Patti Wheatley, all of Clintwood, Va.
