SYRACUSE – Raymond Leroy Barker Jr., 40, of Syracuse, died Aug. 7, 2011, as a result of an accidental drowning.
He was born July 4, 1971, in Warsaw, to Leroy and Virginia Reed Barker, who survive.
A lifetime area resident, he spent several years in the Fort Wayne area.
Also surviving are two sisters, Cathy (and spouse Dan) Olson, Milford, and Sarah (and spouse Pat) Sexton, Fort Wayne; and a brother, Maxwell (and spouse Tiffany) Barker, Fort Wayne.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
