PAMPA, Texas - Raymond Lee Cox, 32, died Oct. 22, 2007, in Amarillo, Texas.
He was born Aug. 1, 1975, in Plymouth, to Bob and Karen Cox, who survive in Wichita, Kan. On Aug. 14, 1999, he married Teena Jacobs, who survives.
He was raised in Warsaw. He was a 1994 graduate of Wichita (Kan.) Northeast Magnet High School and received an associate degree from Butler County Community College, Eldorado, Kan., in 1996. He moved to Pampa from Worland, Wyo., in 1998. He worked at Halliburton, Kansas and Wyoming, and was a truck driver for Groendyke Transport, Borger, for 10 years. At the time of his death, he was an operator at Conoco-Phillips, Borger. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pampa.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kayla Cox, at home; a son, Weston Lee Cox, at home; a brother, Robert L. Cox III, Pratt, Kan.; and a grandmother, Alberta Cox, Warsaw.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Dr. Jerry Lane and Jeff Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
