NAPPANEE – Raymond G. Thompson, 78, Etna Green, died peacefully at 5:10 a.m. May 22, 2014, at Elkhart Hospice House. He was born Dec. 13, 1935, to Goble and Cora Brewer Thompson. On July 6, 1964, in Park City, Ill., he married Clara Mae Dowdy, who died Jan. 11, 2001. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Mark Reige officiating. Burial is in South Union Cemetery with military graveside services by the Nappanee American Legion.
