Raymond Devon Busenburg, 61, of 525 Pawpucket Blvd., Lowell, Mass., and formerly of Warsaw, died at 1:30 p.m. June 15, 2009, in Elliot Hospital, Manchester, N.H.
He was born Aug. 26, 1947, in Warsaw, to Raymond D. and Alice R. Atchison Busenburg. On Dec. 27, 2006, he married Joelyn Johnson, who survives.
He was a tool and die maker for General Electric, Hooksett, N.H. A U.S. Army veteran, he served as a paratrooper for the 101st Airborne Division "Flying Eagles" during the Vietnam War.
Also surviving are his mother and stepfather, Alice R. and Claude J. Johnson Sr., Warsaw; two sons, Christopher Busenburg, California, and William Busenburg, Texas; two daughters, Heather Schrock, Milford, and Michelle Cox; two stepsons, Steve and David Bruce; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Bruce; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Mike (and spouse Dawn) Johnson and Jay (and spouse Shelley) Johnson, all of Warsaw, and Mark (and spouse Linda) Johnson, Mishawaka. He was preceded in death by his father.
A private graveside service will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with the Rev. Tony Williams officiating and with military rites by members of American Legion Post 49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars 1126, both in Warsaw.
No calling is planned.
