Raymond A. "Ray" Menzie, 35, of Leesburg, died at 3:20 a.m. Dec. 14, 2009, in his residence.
He was born Oct. 23, 1974, in Columbia City, to Russell and Rebecca Barnes Menzie. On June 15, 2003, in Warsaw, he married Norma L. Dove, who survives.
He was a machinist at Medtronic for 13 years. His family meant the most to him - especially his boys. He loved playing catch with his boys and proudly attended the Little League Games. He was also proud of his nieces and never missed going to their cross country and track meets.
Also surviving are two sons, Riley A. and Ryan A. Menzie, both at home; his mother and stepfather, Rebecca and Robert Marsh, Warsaw; his father, Russell Menzie, Logansport; a brother, Russell "Rusty" Jr. (and spouse Carolyn) Menzie, Columbia City; and three nieces, Rachel, Renée and Richelle Menzie. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Alvin and Doris Barnes; paternal grandfather, Elmer Menzie; and paternal grandparents, Goldie (Menzie) and Wayne Pittenger.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Jeff Boyer of North Webster Church of God. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
