SYRACUSE - Ray W. Estes, 80, died at 4:40 p.m. June 21, 2007, in his residence.
He was born Oct. 3, 1926, to Clyde and Beulah Vick Estes in Parma, Mo. On Oct. 14, 1946, he married Fay E. Hiner, who died in 2006.
He was a lifetime area resident and wintered in South Texas. He retired from Uniroyal in Mishawaka. He was a Navy veteran.
Surviving are a daughter, Teresa Ward, North Webster; two sons, Larry (and wife Nanette) Estes, Anniston, Ala. and Stanley (and wife Susan) Estes, North Webster; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother Donald Estes, Etna Green. He was preceeded in death by a grandson, Jeremiah Ward; a sister and two brothers.
Services will be private. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition with Chaplain Bob Jarobe presiding.
Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
