WINONA LAKE -ÊA Winona Lake man was arrested early this morning after allegedly raping a woman late Monday night.
Francisco Gonzalez, 17, of 1202 E. Wooster Road, Winona Lake, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail around 2:20 a.m. today on one count of rape with non-deadly force. His bond was set at $10,000.
A 20-year-old woman allegedly was raped at a residence in Fairlane Mobile Home Park around 11 p.m. Monday.
Winona Lake police officer Joe Bumbaugh arrested Gonzalez Monday night.
The incident remains under investigation, and the Winona Lake Police Department currently is taking statements from others about the incident.
