Ashley Lynn Ransbottom and Matthew Oliver Miles were married Sept. 27, 2008, at Lucerne Park with Scott Miles, father of the groom officiating. The bride is the daughter of Randy and Priscilla B. Ransbottom, Silver Lake; the groom's parents are Scott and Mindy Miles, Georgia.
Bridesmaid was Tia Franks.
Best man was Drew Miles.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and received a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. She currently works for Maverick Promotions.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. He served four years in the Marine Corps. as a corporal policeman at Camp Lejune, N.C. He currently attends Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree. He works at Cerulean.
