Laveral (Bert) W. and Ella Mae Ransbottom, Claypool, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Thursday. Laveral and the former Ella Mae Shilling were married Oct. 23, 1949, at Methodist Church, Palestine. They are the parents of four children: Cindy Gates, Warsaw; Roger (and spouse Dawn) Ransbottom, Warsaw; Sally (and spouse Rex) Gradeless, Auburn; and Kathy (and spouse Gary) Sponseller, Etna Green.
