Darrin Conley has been named the new head tennis professional at the Warsaw Racquet Club, effective immediately.
Conley is a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and Grace College.
At Warsaw, Conley played No. 1 singles and was named All-Northern Lakes Conference and first team All-State honors.
Conley played two years at Indiana University, before transfering to Grace. He finished his college eligibility playing No. 1 singles for Grace.
Conley's prior teaching experience includes private and group lessons at several clubs in the area. He also served as a teaching professional at the Unversity of Maryland Summer Tennis Camps and the Clemson University Summer Tennis Camps. He had the privilege of participating in drill sessions wtih French Open doubles champions, Luke and Murphy Jensen, as well as with Wimbledon finalist MaliVai Washington.
Conley began youth lessons Oct. 14. Interested people should call the Racquet Club for details.
