Last night, I listened to some words of wisdom from two very intelligent individuals in our community. After their conversation, I started asking myself the following questions, and would ask you to do the same.
When you get out of bed in the morning, look in the mirror at the color of your skin (no matter what color your skin is) and ask yourself, why was I born with this skin color?
The second question you need to ask yourself is why was I born where I was born? (Be it the United States – China – Mexico – Russia – etc. etc.) and the last question I want you to ask yourself is, what color is my heart compared others?
Personally, I could not answer the first two questions, but the answer to the third question is we are all the same color. As to the first two questions there’s only one place to find those answers and I encourage each of us to look in that direction.
