SYRACUSE – Rachel E.B. Pelletier, 69, Syracuse, passed away at 9:47 a.m. Aug. 6, 2016, at her home.
She was born March 9, 1947, in Nashua, N.H., to Maurice Francis and Beatrice E. Gaudette LeBrun. On Aug. 17, 1968, in Nashua, she married Richard R. “Dick” Pelletier, who preceded her in death April 8, 2016.
She graduated in 1965 from St. Louis DeGonzaga High School, Nashua. She was a homemaker and moved to Syracuse area in 1989 from Richmond, Va. She was a member of St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church and Wawasee Kiwanis Club, both in Syracuse.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth (and spouse Donna) Pelletier, Claymont, Del., and Scott (and spouse Chrisie) Pelletier, Goshen; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Roland LeBrun.
A Kiwanis service will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at Oween Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church, Syracuse, with Father Andrew Nazareth officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw. Private family burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
