Quarter Auction Held For Fellowship Missions

Posted
Indiana Business Opportunity Partners held a charity quarter auction for Fellowship Missions in Warsaw.
It was Feb. 27 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW Post 1126 in Warsaw.
The iBOP group was able to make a $1,227.75 donation to Fellowship Missions and wishes to thank those who supported the event.
According to a press release from iBOP, there were over 100 items to bid on from direct sales consultants and handmade items from crafters for the event.
A quarter auction is a way to support a charity and maybe pick up some gifts.
People will exchange their ticket for a paddle and a numbered ball. When people decide they would like to try to win the item up for bid they will put the appropriate number of quarters in a bucket in the middle of the table and hold their numbered paddle up high. For example a $45 item is only a two quarter bid. If the numbered ball is drawn and people have bid, they win that item for just two quarters.
iBOP’s next event is the 4th annual Spring Bling, a combination craft/vendor fair and silent auction. It will be at the Baker Youth Club (the old YMCA building) at 1401 E Smith St. Warsaw, April 16.
The bazaar begins at 9 a.m. with the silent auction running simultaneously. There will be grab bags for the first 100 people age 18 and older through the door. The iBOP group is currently looking for  crafters for this event.
