I am grateful to the Times-Union for the "Purple Heart" article. The young intern, Erin Windle, did a creditable job, but the Purple Heart is a "Decoration," not a "Declaration."
The Purple Heart is awarded only for "wounds received" and not for "various reasons."
Other than that, it was a really impressive article.
