Milford Public Library had a small group of teens participate in this year's annual teen pumpkin carving contest, but everyone had a good time. They brought their pumpkins to the library on Oct. 25 and got busy carving. Photos were taken of each pumpkin and then displayed for a week on the circulation desk upstairs. Patrons visiting the library during that time were asked to vote for their favorite design. This year the contest was very close. Sabrina Meerzo (pictured) got the most votes, with Laura Frew a close runner-up. Each participant won a candy bar, and Meerzo won a special prize for getting the most votes.
