The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

n 10:52 a.m. Wednesday - Rachel A. Ruch, 31, Sturgis, Mich., arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bond: $750.

n 1:15 p.m. Wednesday - Kevin Mitchell Irwin, 28, Tippecanoe, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.

n 6:07 p.m. Wednesday - Tony Lee Meadows, 30, of 824 W. Tower St., Pierceton, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $500.

n 8:30 p.m. Wednesday - William Mitchell Austin, 34, of 824 W. Tower St., Pierceton, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $500.

n 9:51 p.m. Wednesday - Kristina Leigh Garman, 24, of 8974 E. Circle Drive, Syracuse, arrested for criminal trespass. Bond: $300.

n 4:28 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of CR 450N and Brown Road, Leesburg. Car slid off the road. Driver: Kristopher A. Macnak, 21, CR 450N, Leesburg. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.

n 9:24 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of US 30W and CR 450E, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: James D. Shoemaker, 67, Fawn Street, Winona Lake. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. KCSD.

n 1:03 p.m. Wednesday - Intersection of Winona Avenue and Indiana Street, Warsaw. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Karissa R. Auer, 19, Heron Boulevard, Warsaw; Robert S. Cooper, 45, CR 800S, Claypool. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

Incidents

n Sunday - Andrew Beck, EMS B45 Lane, Leesburg, reported the theft of a video game system, 10 games and two bottles of prescription medicines from his residence. KCSD.

n Monday - An alarm went off at Maxwelton Golf Course, Syracuse, and officers discovered a window air conditioning unit pushed out of a window. Someone entered the business, but nothing was reported stolen. KCSD.

n 1:48 p.m. Wednesday - James Joseph Hamilton, Country Club Lane, Warsaw, reported six landscape lights broken at his residence. WPD.
