Front St., South Whitley, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $500. • 5:07 p.m. Wednesday – Gary Gene Gregory, 52, of 8567 S. CR 600W, Claypool, arrested for false informing and on a warrant. Bond: $500. • 8:35 p.m. Wednesday – Heather Lynn Scherer, 36, Columbia City, arrested for throwing burning material from a moving vehicle. Bond: $218. • 12:20 a.m. today – Richard Lee Hardwick III, 25, of 706 W. Portland St., Syracuse, arrested for failure to appear, sexual misconduct with a minor and on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $25,500.
Property Damage Accidents • 12:26 p.m. Wednesday – Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Vehicle backed into another vehicle. Drivers: Austin B. French, East CR 200S, Akron; Rebecca J. Atwell, 41, West CR 625S, Claypool. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated. • 5:45 a.m. today – Intersection of Lake City Highway and Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Vehicle hit deer. Driver: Michael G. Rennecker, 42, Cambridge Boulevard, Fort Wayne. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.
Incidents • 8:20 a.m. Wednesday – A bike was found in the 1000 block of Arthur Street, Warsaw. WPD. • 3:05 p.m. Wednesday – A Warsaw man reported his wallet stolen in the 2100 block of Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. WPD. • 7:33 p.m. Wednesday – A death investigation occurred in the 7300 block of Lutes Drive, Warsaw. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
