 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 4:16 a.m. Friday – Josey James Bickel, 22, of 831 E. Center St., Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated – blood-alcohol content of .08 to .14. Bond: $550.
n 4:34 a.m. Friday – Paula Renee Shuey, 39, of 303 S. Third St., Pierceton, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated – refusal to submit to chemical and breath test. Bond: $550.
n 12:15 p.m. Friday – Christopher Lee Dean, 22, of 641 Walter Way, C, Warsaw, arrested for burglary – breaking and entering a structure. Bond: $2,000.
n 2:48 p.m. Friday – Janna Lee Riley, 49, of 5366 E. Creekside Trail, Syracuse, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.
n 2:52 p.m. Friday – Brittany Nicole Howard Smith, 25, of 506 Turtle Bay, Syracuse, arrested for failure to appear – original charge misdemeanor. Bond: $500.
n 6:46 p.m. Friday – Blake Edward Bradford, 26, of 3103 Kuder Lane, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $550.

Personal Injury
Accident
n 2:46 a.m. Friday – East CR 200N, 6,600 feet east of North CR 650E, Pierceton. Vehicle left roadway and struck tree. Driver: Paula R. Shuey, 39, East CR 200N, Pierceton. Injuries: Shuey sustained an abrasion to her lower leg. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

Accident
n 10:39 a.m. Friday – 331 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Larry C. Lawmaster, 69, West Division Road, Pierceton; Nicole M. Taylor, 24, Court Street, Warsaw. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

Incidents
n 2:57 p.m. Thursday – Police responded to a request for civil property detail in the 600 block of East Northshore Drive, Syracuse. Syracuse Police Department investigated.
n 5:03 a.m. Friday – A runaway teen and property damage accident with damage estimated at more than $1,000 were reported in the 8900 block of West CR 125N, Etna Green. KCSD.
n 2:07 p.m. Friday – Police responded to a request for citizen’s assist in the 400 block of Turkey Creek Drive, Milford. Milford Police Department investigated.
n 10:19 a.m. Friday – Police responded to a report of a male who made suicidal comments in the 600 block of Walter Way, Warsaw. The man’s whereabouts were unknown at the time of the report, but he was reported to be on foot in Warsaw. WPD.
