County Jail Bookings
 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 3:56 p.m. Thursday – Mitchell Allen Dawson, 33, of 719 W. Market St., Warsaw, arrested for criminal mischief. Bond: $1,500.
• 4:34 p.m. Thursday – Dustin E. Owens, 40, of 10402 S. Ind. 15, #21, Silver Lake, arrested for child molesting. No bond set.
• 5:48 p.m. Thursday – Addison Orlan McCann, 20, of 3448 W. Doe Court, Warsaw, arrested for possession of a device that interferes with a drug and alcohol test. Bond: $10,000.
• 9:21 p.m. Thursday – Kerry Lee Morton, 45, of 1824 E. Center St., Warsaw, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $550.

Personal Injury Accident
• 2:23 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of Huntington Street and Bowser Road, Syracuse. Two-vehicle rear-end collision. Drivers: Debra J. Lilly, 57, Wooster Road, Pierceton; David A. Winters, 47, Wawonaissa Drive, Syracuse. Injuries: Winters suffered minor head bleeding. Damages: $10,000 to $25,000. Syracuse Police Department investigated.

• 12:24 a.m. Thursday – Intersection of Center Street and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Driver hit deer. Driver: Thomas A. Ames, 61, Catlin, Ill. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff Department investigated.
• 5:55 a.m. Thursday – Intersection of Old 30 and Brallier Road, Pierceton. Driver hit deer. Driver: David A. Kreider, 58, North Ind. 109, Columbia City. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.
• 8:36 a.m. Thursday – Intersection of West CR 1350N and North CR 500W, Nappanee. Driver hit a horse. Driver: Edward T. Weidenhaft, 63, Van Buren Street, Nappanee. Damages: $5000 to $10,000. KCSD.
• 1:42 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of Packerton Road and Elm Lane, Warsaw. Driver hit deer. Driver: Noah D. Wheeler, 19, Buffet Parkway, Fishers. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
• 4:27 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of Lake City Highway and Silveus Crossing, Warsaw. Two-vehicle rear-end collision. Drivers: Shawna L. Stough, 18, Cardinal Circle, Plymouth; Autumn D. Brown, Frontage Road, Warsaw. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 4:59 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of Crooked Mile Road and Sir Lancelot Lane, Cromwell. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Michael A. Shelmadine, 32, Crooked Mile Road, Cromwell; Edward J. Kott, 71, Memorial Parkway, Cromwell. Damages: $2,500 to $5000. KCSD.

• 8:16 a.m. Thursday – A vehicle was towed for expired plates in the 2000 block of North CR 100E, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 11:41 a.m. Thursday – A domestic verbal argument led to a broken door in the 300 block of James Street, Milford. Milford Police Department investigated.
• 1:47 p.m. Thursday – A Claypool man was driving while suspended in the 100 block of intersection of Sheldon and Detroit streets, Warsaw. WPD.
• 6:48 p.m. Thursday – A Syracuse man reported his wallet was stolen in the 10800 block of Syracuse Webster Road, Syracuse. KCSD.
• 3:23 a.m. Friday – A Warsaw woman reported theft from her vehicle in the 1900 block of Sheridan Street, Warsaw. WPD.
