Portland St., Syracuse, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender and failure to register as a sex offender to provide identification. Bond: $1,000. n 7:16 p.m. Tuesday – John Adolph Mayer, 65, of 404 N. Parker St., 11, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated – refusal to submit to chemical and breath test. Bond: $550.
Personal Injury Accident n 11:29 p.m. Tuesday – North CR 1000E, 500 feet south of East CR 1350N, Syracuse. Vehicle left roadway and came to rest in a ditch. Driver: Kristine M. Jaskutis, 50, North Hiawatha Lane, Syracuse. Injuries: Jaskutis was airlifted to Lutheran Hospital in critical condition. Damages: $50,000 to $100,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
