Western Route Project public meeting will be held by the Kosciusko County Commissioners Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Center Lake Pavilion, 118 E. Canal St., Warsaw.
The meeting will be the first of several public meetings to discuss the project. Key elements of the meeting will include introducing the project to the public, reviewing existing conditions and travel routes and encouraging public input.
The Western Route Project is a corridor study that will investigate upgrading existing roads and identifying alternative routes on the west side of Warsaw from U.S. 30 to Ind. 15 south of Warsaw city limits.
The commissioners have retained the Troyer Group to perform the study that will analyze present and future traffic conditions and recommend a preferred alternative route.
