The Warsaw Community School Corp. Board of School Trustees has scheduled a public work session for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the old school buildings. The meeting will be held at the Central Instructional Materials Center Board Room, 1 Administration Drive, Warsaw.
The Leesburg Elementary facility will be on the agenda from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with Madison on the agenda from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The old Leesburg is at 1 Church St., Leesburg. The former Madison is at 201 N. Union St., Warsaw.
At the end of the 2003-04 school year, Warsaw Schools closed Silver Lake, Atwood and Claypool elementaries. In 2008, Warsaw Community Schools decided to reopen, renovate and expand Claypool; build new Madison and Leesburg schools; and renovate and expand Jefferson Elementary. The new schools opened at the beginning of this school year.
