Pro-Life Anti-War?

Editor, Times-Union:
I hear the slogan pro-life every day. Even signs in yards and bumper stickers everywhere.

So I ask myself why a large percentage of Americans are not anti-war? War is not very pro-life.

Of course, if your country, your state, your town or your family is attacked, nature affords us self defense. But otherwise, it’s not pro-life to occupy by force other countries or drop missiles and bombs from remote controlled drones.

It’s also pro-life to prosecute those corporations that willingly destroy the environment. But again, the majority of people obviously are not pro-life because they support politicians and parties who are paid off by environment destroyers.

Almost no one in politics is seriously pro-life. It doesn’t seem like many taxpayers are either. Pro-life cannot be one dimensional.
