COLUMBIA CITY - Priscilla F. "Pete" Klingaman, 50, of Etna Troy Township, Whitley County, died at 2:35 p.m. July 18, 2007, in her residence. She was in failing health since December 2004.
She was born June 12, 1957, in Marion, to Atwell and Hazel J. Todd Derossett. On Sept. 26, 1992, she married Bruce L. Klingaman, who survives.
She was a 1975 Churubusco High School graduate. She was employed at Ranger Trucking, Fort Wayne, for 10 years, and C.W. Johnson Express since 1995. She was a member of New Hope Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jesus (Jessie) Contreras, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sons, Jay Johnson Jr. and Brent Klingaman, both of Larwill; six grandchildren; her mother, Hazel Jo Hurt, Columbia City; and a brother, Robert Derosset, Columbia City.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, with the Revs. Barry Faucett and Jason Tash officiating. Burial will be in the Kiester section of Scott Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
