Priscilla Churchill, 75, of Fort Wayne, died at 1:04 p.m. Sept. 26, 2012, in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.

She was born March 29, 1937, in Cherokee, Ala., to Sam Robert and Easter Belle Malone Barton.

She moved to    Fort Wayne from Warsaw in 1970. She was an assistant manager at Arby’s, Fort Wayne;   a teacher’s aid at Weisser Park School, Fort Wayne; and tax preparer for H & R Block. She graduated from Central High School, South Bend. She enjoyed traveling and going to garage sales, but most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren. A woman of faith, she was gentle, kind and gracious to everyone.

Surviving are three daughters: Cesselly Churchill, New Haven; Jensie Churchill, Fort Wayne; and Mellany (and spouse Gary) West, Houston, Texas; four sisters: Pearlean (and spouse Verley) Sangster, Aurora, Colo; Margie Chandler, Vallejo, Calif.; Flora Belle Robbins and Doris Elvira (and spouse James) Williams, all of South Bend; four brothers: Robert Milton (and spouse Shirley) Barton, Upper Marlboro, Md.; Percy (and spouse Ofelia) Barton, Rancho Cordova, Calif.; Kenneth Ray Barton; and Thomas (and spouse Krissy) Barton, Alexandria, Va.; and five grandchildren: Lawrence Simmons, Angela and PO3 Malcolm Churchill and  Darien and Lauren West. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at noon Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor James B. Williams Jr. of Abundant Faith Family Ministries, South Bend. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
