Prinsen Signs With Grace Lakeland Christian Academy senior Bethany Prinsen has signed on to play softball at Grace College. Prinsen was a three-sport athlete at LCA, playing basketball, volleyball and baseball for two years since the school did not field a softball team. “I chose Grace because I felt that this is where God wanted me to be,” she said. “He opened the door for me to play softball and be educated in a Christian environment. I want to glorify God with the abilities that he has given me.” Prinsen was a member of both the National Honor Society and the Student Senate in high school in addition to being a worship team leader. “We are excited to add Bethany to our squad,” said Grace College softball head coach Heather Johnson. “She is an outstanding individual who will bring talent and hard work to our team.” While at Grace, Prinsen plans to obtain a degree in business or counseling.
