Just a note or open letter to our beleaguered and lame-duck president.
God only knows you're short on good legacy as opposed to bad material. I admit my idea compares to a grain of sand on this beach, but might help a tad. Consider this: How about a full pardon for agents Ramos & Compean, with full compensation for their imprisonment, and at least an offer for their jobs back? Suspect they would pass on the latter. I would!
What a terrible miscarriage of justice. Shame on the perpetrators, two of which are friends of yours. There were rumors at one time that you might have been privy of what was transpiring. I am sure the full story and reason of what took place will probably never see light of day. To me, it will always remain a blot on your administration. Wouldn't surprise me to learn that the suspect in this case, who was brought back to our country to have fanny patched and to testify against our agents and threatened to sue U.S. for millions, and very well may have collected. Does anyone know?
In closing, let me say this. Mr. President, as you claim to be a man of God, wouldn't this be a wonderful chance to prove it? Give it some thought. I am.
