Editor, Times-Union: Normally, I would not do this, but I have to thank Tom Metzger for talking Mitch Daniels in not running for president. It is obvious that the governor read that and probably thought, “Wow, if Tom Metzger does not like me, then I better not run for president.” OK, Mitch Daniels probably did not read it, but I have to ask Tom if he would write letters saying how horrible Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Sarah Palin would be as president so they will not jump into the race?
