Sacred Heart School’s Kindergarten Prep 4 and Pre-K 3 classes conducted a service project this Christmas. On Dec. 1, the preschool classes teamed up to decorate a total of 2,000 cookies for Our Father’s House. With the help of several parents, the preschoolers frosted, decorated and wrapped lots of cookies for less fortunate families. Our Father’s House provided the cookies. The preschoolers bought sprinkles, M&M’s, chocolate kisses and others items to decorate cookies as well as cellophane paper rolls and bows to wrap them up in holiday style. Martin’s Supermarket donated the trays for the cookies. The students loved decorating the cookies as well as sampling one of them after their decorating time was finished.
