My heart is heavy for this country and the direction it is taking. I've been told that 86 percent of Americans believe in God.
But, the real question is, do they believe God?His Word tells us, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." II Chronicles 7:14 NIV
I believe He is wondering why his 86 percent of Americans aren't crying out to Him now and asking to heal our country.
I encourage the churches in our community to take a day of the week and have a 24-hour prayer vigil for this country and our world.
We would be amazed of the outcome. Believers need to come together and stand up for this nation. There's power in prayer.
