Editor, Times-Union: Wake Up, America, pray and vote. Every vote counts. Galatians 6:7,8 TLB (The Living Bible) 7. Don’t be misled: Remember that you can’t ignore God and get away with it. A man will always reap just the kind of crop he sows. 8. If he sows to please his own desires, he will be plating seeds of evil and he will surely reap a harvest of spiritual decay and death, but if he plants the good things of the Spirit he will reap the everlasting life which the Holy Spirit gives him. If you call yourself a Christian, pray and vote. We have two choices for president – check their platform and see which one comes the nearest to Biblical Christian values. President Obama has shown us his values. Obama directed the Department of Justice to stop defending the Federal Defense of Marriage Act. Obama’s Defense Department permits same-sex marriage on military bases in violation of federal law. Obama attempts to control hiring policies of Christian schools. Obama sides with Islamists in the U.N. to create blasphemy laws, the same type of laws used to execute Christians in Pakistan Sharia Law. Obama issued a mandate forcing religious schools and hospitals to pay for contraception “morning after pills” and sterilizations. Obama ordered Catholic military chaplains not to read a letter to service members from a Catholic Archbishop. Religious liberty is in danger! Take action! II Chronicles 7:14 TLB. If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and seek my face, and turn from their wicked warp, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Pray and vote. Lucile Doering Akron
