Phil and Jan Pratt will mark their 50th wedding anniversary June 21, 2008. Phil Pratt and Janice Hoffman were married June 21, 1958, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Rochester, with the Rev. Harry Smith officiating.
He is a retired teacher and coach in the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation and currently is the minister at Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is a homemaker.
The couple have four children: Cindy Pratt (and spouse Fred) Sokol, and Barb Pratt, all of Elkhart; and Pete (and spouse Melinda) Pratt and Sandy Pratt (and spouse Mike) Inglehearn, all of Rochester. They have 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate the anniversary with an open house June 21 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Manitou Banquet Hall. The couple requests no gifts, just memories. Cards may be sent to the couple at 3027 N. CR 650E, Rochester, IN 46975.
