Stacie Marie Powell and Joel Clinton Goon were married Aug. 11, 2007, at Mount Tabor Church of God, Etna Green, with Pastor Milton Gould officiating. The bride is the daughter of John and Louise Powell, Warsaw; the groom's parents are Jon and Tina Goon, Warsaw.
Maid of honor was Meredith Powell. Bridesmaids were Gail Goon and Misty Goon, both of Warsaw. Flower girl was Clarice Scheele, Fort Wayne.
Best man was Ezra Gigous, Warsaw. Groomsmen were Scot Goon and Brad Goon, both of Warsaw. Ushers were Andy Popenfoose, Tim Popenfoose, Jeremy Hedington, and Jordon Dotson, all of Warsaw. Ring bearer was Kennis Dye, Warsaw.
A reception was held at Amish Acres, Nappanee.
The bride is employed part-time at J.G. Powell Farms and part-time at BNL Ducks, both of Warsaw. She is a 2001 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and received an associate's degree in agribusiness marketing and management from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2003.
The groom is employed at J.G.Powell Farms, Warsaw. He is a 2001 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and received an associate's degree in agricultural equipment and diesel technology from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2004.
After a wedding trip to Nashville, Tenn., the couple reside in Warsaw.
