Post Office Offers Special 'Tax' Hours

Posted

The United States Postal Service has announced the Warsaw post office will remain open until midnight on Tuesday, April 15, to accept and postmark state and federal income tax returns.

Postmaster John R. Rupe said returns mailed at the main post office, 365 W. Market St., Warsaw, and collection boxes at the main post office are the only returns that will be postmarked after normal business hours April 15. Any returns mailed after posted collection times at other locations cannot be guaranteed the April 15 postmark.

Full retail operations will be available until midnight. There will not be any tax assistance available at the Warsaw office.
