Possibly Suicidal Person Shuts Down U.S. 30U.S. 30 traffic was shut down for a time Tuesday due to a possibly suicidal person at a gas station.
According to information from the Indiana State Police, just after 2 p.m. Tuesday, an ISP trooper stopped to assist a Kosciusko County deputy that had found a person in a car that was possibly suicidal at a gas station at U.S. 30 and Ind. 19.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene and attempted to speak to the person, who did have a gun in the car. U.S. 30 was shut down during this time.
The person then left the scene traveling north on Ind. 19 and eventually crashed at CR 450N and Ind. 19. They were not injured in the crash, according to the ISP.
