The Warsaw Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce and Warsaw Community Development Corp. have been working on getting some “Pop-Up Shops” in downtown Warsaw for local holiday shopping. The location of these shops is in the old license branch on Lake Street. Three businesses have opened in there with items for Christmas gifts. The shops are Shanghai Tai, a jewelry maker who works with pearls, exotic glass techniques and precious metal clays; Denney Farms, who provides locally produced, homemade jellies, syrups, sauerkraut, and other in-season produce; and Indiana Urban Lumber, who provides home furnishings and crafts created from urban lumber. Hours for the Pop-Ups are noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
