Warsaw police have received reports from Meadowbrook Addition residents questioning the validity of solicitors seeking money for a child with leukemia.
The solicitors claim to be raising money for 5-month-old Brenna Jeffreys. Although the Warsaw family benefited from recent fund-raisers, Doug Jeffreys was not aware of anyone soliciting door-to-door for his daughter.
Those wishing to help Brenna should contact the family directly, her father told police.
