Two people who were arrested last week on charges of possession of methamphetamine were caught due to a tip police received.
According to a probable cause affidavit from the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s office, a Warsaw police officer was notified that people were smoking methamphetamine at a home in the 900 block of East Fort Wayne Street on Jan. 5.
When the officer arrived, they found Donnie Jackson, 22, of 2992 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw, and Hailee Blackburn, 18, of 405 W. Huntington St., North Webster.
Both were booked into Kosciusko County Jail on possession of methamphetamine charges and held on $2,000 bond.
According to court documents, those two admitted to smoking methamphetamine found in the home.
Drug paraphernalia also was found inside the home.
According to police, additional charges may be pending from the Jan. 5 incident.
