Police are looking for a 1992 Cadillac stolen from in front of a business Tuesday morning while an employee watched.
The suspect reportedly walked up to the dusty rose Cadillac Sedan Deville parked at Quick Clean Laundries on East Winona Avenue, opened the door and got into the car. The employee told police she saw the suspect lean down inside the car, possibly to hot wire the vehicle, then speed away.
She immediately notified her boss, the car's owner, and he ran out of the business in time to see the car being driven through a red light southbound onto Detroit Street.
Including the car, $3,000 in cash and checks, tools, golf clubs and other items, the loss is estimated at $15,260. The owner of the car is Kim Frauhiger of Winona Lake.
